You can rely on the same high-quality care you are accustomed to getting from your GP practice. Besides receiving care at the practice, you can also receive it remotely via your mobile phone. For this, your GP works with the Quin app.
The Quin app is an app that allows you to easily and quickly arrange healthcare matters with your GP or pharmacy. The Quin app is an addition to the patient portal.

Check your symptoms
Check your symptoms and get reliable insight into their potential causes, advice on whether you should see a doctor and an idea of how urgent the situation is.
Make an appointment with your doctor
Schedule an appointment for a video consultation, telephone consultation or a visit to the practice. Depending on your complaint, we offer one or more suitable options.
See a doctor today
After you have done the symptom checker, choose the option of video calling a GP. Indicate the time period during which you are available and receive an app-notification when the doctor is ready. That saves travel time.
Ask questions and send photos
Do you have a practical or less urgent medical question? Send a chat message to the practice. You will receive a reply within a maximum of 2 working days.
View your medical records
Your GP stores your medical data on a computer. You can log in securely via the app. That way, you have your health information at your fingertips.

Request repeat prescriptions
Request your prescription via the app and receive a message when the prescription has been sent to your pharmacy. You can then collect your medications yourself there.

The patient portal
Huisartsenpraktijk Westertoren uses a patient portal. In this portal you can easily arrange a number of things yourself, such as:
Request a repeat prescription, view medical records and examination results.
Download the Quin-app and link your patient portal to use it. Or click here to log in directly to the patient portal via your browser.
To use the patient portal, you need an account. For this you need a 06-number and your own e-mail address. Below you will find the instructions for creating an account.
How do I request an account for the patient portal?
Please fill in the form to request an account for the patient portal. To create an account we need your name, e-mail address and mobile phone number.
Note: The portal does not support logging in with one account for the entire family. Each family member must have his/her own e-mail address. However, it is possible that the same mobile number is used for several family members.
After your request, the assistant will create an account for you, after which you will receive an e-mail with instructions. After creating your password, you can easily log on to the patient portal.
